
Roads to rural Burundi are frequently rough and composed of dirt. Barren plots of farmland are visible, along with some trees. You can often see on your visit to Burundi, examples of spaces where hillsides are deforested to produce charcoal. The smoke rising from a charcoal kiln can be seen from a far distance.
Pictures tell the story beautifully and best. Love "touring" Burundi via the visuals. Great idea. I scrolled through the entire story, which I do not always do. Thanks!
