Afiya serves as a key contributor in our Marketing Communications Specialist role, helping to create resources and reports that highlight our goals and impact. She is passionate about connecting donors more closely to the mission of empowering people through restoration.

With a background in freelance writing and editing for organizations like Lifeway and International Justice Mission, Afiya finds fulfillment in bringing projects from concept to completion, whether through books or impactful campaigns. Afiya holds a BA in English from the University of Maryland and an MA in English from Wake Forest University. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, reading, and baking sourdough.
