As Talent & Internship Coordinator, Sophia's role is relationship focused and works to promote a human centered workplace for her teammates, interns, and the organization. On the People & Culture team she facilitates organizational change by creating systems and spaces for her teammates to re-imagine and co-create a relevant culture of learning, diversity and inclusion, coaching, and holistic wellbeing through safe space dialogue, and brainstorming.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Nutrition at Point Loma Nazarene University, Sophia’s interest in food systems around the world sparked a need to learn more about our approach. Her welcoming nature and loving spirit has carried her into many accomplishments throughout her time with us. Sophie enjoys learning Spanish, exploring Latin America, bird watching, and learning more about agroforestry and rural food systems.
