Kate joined the Plant With Purpose board in 2026. She works for a private foundation and brings a strong background in community development and agriculture. She earned a BA in Community Development with an international emphasis from Covenant College, interned with ECHO, and served as an agriculturist with the Peace Corps in Senegal. She is a gardener and lives with her family in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
