As the Vice President of International Programs, Milmer works closely with all of our local teams as well as community participants to find solutions to problems including food security and wildlife habitat loss. Milmer is a passionate biologist and has a background in Conservation Genetics, and Behavioral Ecology. He is a key player in facilitating positive change in the rural communities we partner with, and seeks to identify opportunities to co-design and co-implement strategies that increase native and endemic biodiversity.
Through integrating conservation biology and agroecology principles into our transformational development model, Milmer facilitates processes and agricultural designs that lead to restored natural ecosystems, and consequently create resilient rural communities. He considers it a privilege to collaborate with rural farmers communities and teams around the world.
