“Before, I thought that it wasn’t important whether or not we had trees. Now, in workshops I've attended, I’ve realized that reforestation is important because thanks to the plants there is life for both us and the animals,” shares Merced from rural Mexico.
“Approximately 7 or 8 years ago, there were few plants here. It looked dry. The trees we planted grew little by little, and those that grew stayed alive. Now they are here, making the place greener and more beautiful. The Plant With Purpose activities have helped us learn how to live together.”

“This community has changed a lot. So many trees are being planted. The weather is better, too. Rains are falling when before, a drought was more common. The weather feels cooler, and my life has changed in a positive way.”
