Marketplace activity in Kayero. Most families in Burundi grow the food that provides their own nutrition. Anything else they need can be bought at the market. Likewise, surplus produce can be sold at the market for income. This activity means economic development is not only contained within Purpose Groups, but extends further into the community.
Pictures tell the story beautifully and best. Love "touring" Burundi via the visuals. Great idea. I scrolled through the entire story, which I do not always do. Thanks!
Philippe,
